NFL players tackle opponents of marriage equality

 

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo did a PSA in support of marriage equality, and was harshly criticized by Maryland delegate Emmett Burns for doing so. Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe wrote a scathing response to Burns in support of Ayanbadejo and gay rights. The letter went viral, and both players join Rev. Al Sharpton with their story.

hmmm - yay for marriage equality and so on - but do you think they were deliberately using the phrase 'came out' quite so many times?

End of a campaign

50 minutes of the most stupid things, one after another, ever said by any candidate for anything. It is staggering and IMHO totally worth the time to watch it. Wow, what a mindset.

No-one could come back from this. Not when the reality of the people he is so vile about are really important voting blocks - in that 47% he talks about are those who serve in the military, students and retirees (they don't pay income tax because of deductions); latinos; jews and fans of the view or letterman. Plus underlying the stuff about the morality of paying income tax HAS to draw more attention to the fact that he won't release his tax returns. 

He also displays a truly staggering ignorance of foreign affairs in this video - if you stop to think about how close he actually is (one of two choices) to being CinC while watching this, it will give you chills. 

What a tool.
