Exercise blather

grouchiegrrlYesterday I went to the pool after work with Chewie, because my plans fell through. I decided rather than swimming for the second day in a row, I would deep-water run with him. I have been, well basically bullying him to do this every day, on the theory that he would get a good cardio workout without damaging his ankle, back, knees, - all of his broken bits.
We did a half hour in the waterpolo pool and I had my heart rate monitor on - and it didn't stop beeping the whole time. The low end beeping sadly - I think I get a greater working dreaming than I did in the pool. Which makes me feel like a tool for all the hassling of chewie I have been doing - it probably is a better workout to walk up and down the 50 meter pool with the old ladies.
Today I rode again - no headwinds. Which was nice - but my monitor tells me I burnt alot less calories! Ah well, today I am going to ride home too, so I guess that will well and truely make up the difference.
