10 Months
So, Atti is 10 months today yesterday.
Weight 8680kg, and height 75cms. I can't find the book, but I am pretty sure he has gained about 300gm and not grown at all. But we did take last month's quite late.
What is he up to? Well he has taken his first steps, so now and again he takes an independent step or two. He will be standing whenever he can, and cruising as much as possible. He will cling onto my leg and 'walk' along with me if he can. He seems to like going backwards. He definitely has a sign he uses, that we thought meant 'daddy' but possibly means 'bloke I like' (he uses it for my neighbour sometimes too).
He definitely is developing a sense of humour, as there are bits on the playschool dvds we sometimes watch that he laughs at, and sometimes he just find random things funny. Being told that he is dirty/grotty/a disgrace or eeeeevil makes him laugh. A lot. Toerag. The bathplug gets him loud and shouty and he likes to put it in the bin - and that is funny apparently. He loves eating eggs and this little veggie pikelets we make him, and yum cha. And most of all, food on the floor or food that belongs to others.
He has started sleeping more during the day, but it is still a bit unpredictable. And nights are a moveable feast, depending on when his last nap ended. But that is ok. I am happy to let him figure it out.
