Aug. 19th, 2013 01:45 pmSymphony - Maggie Beer and Simon Bryant with WASO!!!! The cook, the chef and the WASO. How awesome is that. What they are going to do, I have absolutely no idea.... and I don't think I care. I can get pre-sale tickets if anyone is interested.
Shoes - Can anyone explain to me the point of shoes that come apart if they get wet? At the end of last year I decided that I would buy expensive shoes from now on, so that they would last and be good for me. So my in-laws gave me a birkenstocks voucher for my birthday and in Feb I bought a very expensive pair of well sandals I guess. Which were great, until the weather turned, and I occasionally got caught out in the rain. They have totally fallen apart. Brilliant. I mentioned this to a friend who wears them too, and she said 'yeah you can't get them wet'. A- why would you make SHOES that can't get wet? and B, why would anyone buy them? Meh.
Funny - My sister just sent Atti a present. One of the things in the box was one of those wooden, pedal free bikes. Hilarious - she has sent it the same week he took his first steps!
Atti - I think I might be saying 'don't touch' and 'don't' a bit much. I was walking past him yesterday and hearing his babble... he was "saying" something that sounded like 'doan...doan...doan..." hmm.
