Don't poke the animals
Apr. 27th, 2011 01:42 pmWe have the smalls today, and I just wandered out to make tea and on seeing all three smalls and the wookie all entranced with the movie commented "hello zombies".
and we were off.
smallest followed me into the kitchen to explain zer knowledge of zombies, zombie apocalypses, and apocalypses in general. Along the way making the comment of the ... week? "it's true. I know it is. I was told it at swancon".
which started the others into a discussion of the Mayan calendar and the apocalypse, and Aztecs and their penchant for ripping out hearts and a general level of conversation that made me point out to the wookie that it was his suggestion that I come out of my room and talk to the children more - and look where that had got us.
but seriously what an awesome quote - it must be true, cause I heard it at swancon.
