My favourite things
Apr. 14th, 2011 01:27 pmOne of my favourite things is the West Wing, and I watch it at least once a year.
and one of the brilliant things about the West Wing is Gail the goldfish. Early in the first season the press secretary is given a goldfish, and it is always on her desk after that.
and the production team use Gail to have fun with the fans. Because in most episodes there is a prop that is to do with the plot of the show in the bowl. So in the episode about 'heifer international' there were plastic cows in the bowl. In an episode where the president and the first lady are trying to sneak off for nookie Gail gets a bed and another fish in her bowl! Stuff like that.
