Mr Boo Boo is the best friend in the world. She gave me the bestest birthday present today. She bought some vouchers and took me (and two other women) to this fabulous up-market spa out in the hills.

absolutely amazing day. you arrive and get into a robe and slippers, and then you have tea in the lounge, a bit of time to unwind and chat to your friends, then you get taken off for a massage with hot foot towels and 'sound therapy' which is banging a drum over your body so you can feel the vibrations. and hours of actual massage.

then back to the lounge for some food and more fluids and chatting and hanging out, and then back into have a rejuvenating facial. Three hours all up of complete pampering.

I can highly recommend the spa (and Mr Boo Boo as a mate!) although it is awfully expensive! 

Exercise

Yesterday, swam a kilometer. At least - my mind was so on other things that I am pretty sure I swam a lot further. My knee was a bit sore swimming.

Today - run level 4. Felt good throughout. No problems at all in today's run.
