Advice oh interwebs?
Mar. 18th, 2014 03:08 pm My butcher kind of laughed at me the other day when I bought some chicken livers off him. I gather there is somewhere where I can buy cheap and plentiful chicken livers.
Only I don't know where that would be. I think Fred_Mouse once bought some from the meat place next to the Canningvale markets, but that would probably have been when I was at uni the first time.
So, anyone know where you get chicken livers? My neighbour and I are planning some regular pate making, in an effort to have good food but a lean food budget.
*Update* - I have found a source in Osborne Park. 2 kilo bags for $6. I will be going off to buy some this week, if anyone wants some, let me know. Made first batch of pate last night too - not bad actually
