Food

You kind of have to make an effort over here to eat bad, or even mediocre food. Interestingly the more expensive it is.... the more blah. Up on the mountain it is like an airport, a pie and chips and a drink will cost an enormous sum -  but the only blah meal we have had otherwise was the posh pub we went to. Tonight we went to a stakehouse, and it was fantastic food. And the huge servings that meant the wookie and I split one meal between us and were very happy. Cheap drinks too.

Actually, the last four meals I have eaten have all been utterly fabulous. Last night's burgers, this morning's brunch, afternoon tea then tonight's dinner - all really fantastic and all decent value for money. 

And we all decided tonight that we will just go back to the places we have tried and liked for the rest of our stay *grin*.
