Not at all.

but, I just logged onto my uni website to select my tutes for next semester (bloody website crashed and so missed out on the only decent tute time*) and there was a message saying my results page has been updated. Which is a bit odd given that exams are in a fortnight.

Turns out my research paper grade has been changed - they gave me some more marks.

Now, as I say - no complaints... it is just... ummm.... how? why? what just happened?

It isn't like a class where they adjusted the marks for a curve - this is one student, me, and one teacher, my supervisor. And it is on a pretty specialised topic, so I find it hard to believe that someone else read it and said 'actually this is even better than the incredibly great mark you have given grouchie'.... so what on earth happened?

Weird. Good weird, but weird never the less.

Also, do trying to figure out if I know any climate scientists. cricketk and I were noting that 'hug a climate scientist day' is fast approaching and I need to work out who I am supposed to hug. Not very keen on rocking round my uni looking for hug-able scientists. Oooh, there is that woman I met last semester, I should see if she wants to have a coffee that day.

*guess I was going to complain!
