it was nice while it lasted

There is this period every  semester, where (after going nuts) you hand in all your assignments, and there is this lovely time between that, and when they are marked and returned. I have been known to stretch this out by simply not picking up my assignments - usually til after my exams. which everyone seems to think is nuts, but as I rarely have two assignments due in a semester, I don't need to read the comments, I just need to prepare for exams. And as I am not a great writer, and I am a terrible procrastinator - assignments aren't my strength - and I would rather not get depressed and stressed before exams.

The uni mainly stuffed me around on this front by either handing them back in class, or now, by lodging my results online. and I don't seem able not to look once I know they are there.

anyway, what is whinge in aide of? Well it is because my lovely relaxing period between all my assignments going in (can it only have been last week?) and the results starting to turn up will soon be over. My summer research supervisor emailed me tonight to tell me it is marked and the results are with the examiners - and she can't tell me what they are. She said very nice comments though, so I am hopeful. and today in class my legal theory prof promised they will be done soon (with me going 'oh take your time, don't stress yourself' and other things like that). Haven't heard a thing about my CJS one - which is fine, cause that is the one worth the most - and the class I would really like to do well in.

and here I am awake in the middle of the night. I get up at 5am - how is it possible I am awake still?
