Run
Got my butt back out this morning for a run. It has been a couple of weeks since I ran, busy for one and no skin on my heels for the other. So I was expecting it to be hard... but actually I was fine. Not dying at the end of it. I guess that means I should go up another level, and push myself. I might finish out the week on 3 and go up to 4 on Sunday morning.
Mind you, the next level is quite a jump. At this level I do a 5 minute warm up walk, then I jog 90 seconds, walk 90 seconds, jog 3 mins, walk 3 mins and repeat. Level 4 is: warm up then jog 3 mins; walk 90 seconds; job 5 mins; walk 2.5 mins; jog 3 mins; walk 90 seconds; jog 5 minutes; walk home.
Yikes. I would have thought the next step was all three min runs. hmm. wonder how I will go with this level. I was running for 9 minutes overall, now I will be running for 16 out of 30. well, I guess I give it a go. I wasn't being really stretched this morning (don't think I would have said it was easy either) so I should try for something harder.
