ok. um. well. that was weird. copying the UK and NZ. hmm.
There is one truly awesome outcome - Wilson Tuckey seems to have been sacked by the people of O'Connor. Oh, people of O'Connor, I have been waiting for this for so long. Thank you. Yes I know - it is a National, so doesn't help the forces of good against the forces of darkness, but seriously, any day that gets ole 'IronBar' out of a job and out of the chance to have a daily presser where he can spew hate and insanity and bile - that is a good day.
as for the rest. hummmm. talked to some friends this morning who have several nationalities between them, and they are thinking of moving to the scandinavian one's homeland. taking their precious baby and fleeing, actually. I explained our 'head to the land of the long white cloud' plan if it all gets too bad.
off to a civilised high tea with other friends to discuss fallout. and meet their new buba.
