... and not a drop to drink
Aug. 5th, 2010 05:25 ameeenteresting, we don't seem to have any water this morning.
These are the times when I wonder if there is a higher power, but a loki-like figure, just coming up with new and interesting ways to stuff people around. You know, person gets up at 5am to study, with a sore throat, goes to make tea, and the water is cut off. You kind of wonder is someone is watching.
Also, you realise that your ability to cope in the world is terrifyingly limited to technology. I actually have no way to get water until the tech works again. or the shops open. oh wait, Kings Park has some bodies of water, I suppose I could take a bucket down there.... *grin*
*update* - funny how exited you can get when you find water bottles round the house with enough in them to make a cup of tea!
yay for the gym membership - will be able to shower.
