First day
First day of law school (well, as an actual law student) and woah! a truly staggering amount on books - that govt money must have law and med students in mind when they set the amount.
On Tuesdays I will be spending all day in the same lecture theatre in lectures. A few of us who are taking the same units were joking that we should bring pillows and doonas and stuff and really settle in for the day.
I found two hours about as long a time for a lecture as I could handle, I don't know how people do the one four hour session each night. But, the subjects all interested me, the lecturers all seemed good, the course load doesn't look overwhelming - mind you, lots of my assignments are due in week 5, which is a bit disconcerting. Also, all the assignment questions are available now.
So I am going to go lie down for a bit, then have a look at the assignments. and plot out my semester workload.
Today was good - I am happy with the change. I managed to see pretty much all the people I have become friendly with in the last year at uni - there isn't alot of them, but I will get to catch up with most in the lunch break on Tuesdays. And there is at least one person I am friendly with in each of my classes - which is another bonus. I don't actually like making new friends very much, so I find it so much less stressful when I don't have to.
