More Sydney

Sydney's public transport rocks. Really rocks. Double decker trains, buses all the time - fantastic.

Not so hot is that the place is... well kinda dirty. We went all over sydney today, and there is all these fantastic old buildings, and great public transport, and incredible shops, and the whole place looks like it needs a steam cleaner. I love that you can take food and drinks on the public transport, but wouldn't it make sense to have bins on them too then? I picked up that much rubbish today on buses, trains, platforms and put them in bins. I can't believe people just live rubbish on the bus like that. And all the buildings look like they need to be scrubbed and given a fresh coat of paint. Does anyone else find that about Sydney? Maybe it is just where I am staying and going - I don't remember thinking that the last time I was here, but I was in Mosman and Circular Quay.

Seriously cool second hand shops and vintage shops too. Also, fabulous kids clothes and toys.

I wouldn't mind coming back here and staying for a while, being able to get to know the city better.
